* Dual Credit Electrician Program
Thanks to an exciting partnership with Keyano College, the Fort McMurray Public and Catholic Districts will offer a dual credit Electrician Program for high school students. Coming the spring of 2019 high school students can enroll into the Keyano College Pre-Employment Program in the Electrician Trade where high school students earn both CTS credits and post-secondary credits at the same time. Students will spend one semester at Keyano college learning the theory or technical training portion of the electrical trade.

* Westwood Rugby
There will be a Westwood Rugby meeting for interested male/female players and parents Tuesday, February 20, at 7:00pm in the Westwood Library. You will have a chance to meet the coaches, learn about the sport and sign up for the team. Mr. Tim van Vliet will be there from the Fort McMurray Knights/Alberta Rugby to share the plan for rugby in Fort McMurray, and to answer questions about the schedule and season. We hope to see you there! Official sign up and commitment will take place on the 22nd, and indoor practices will commence on the 5th of March.

We want you!! Alberta Francophone games are being held on May 11-13 in Edmonton. This is a time where you and your friends can come and play some sports against youth from all over Alberta. Come represent Fort McMurray. Medals are awarded at the end of the second day. If you register before Feb. 16 there is a cost saving. So please register now. If you have any questions there is a hand out in the office or you can speak to Mrs.LaRose.
