Rita Das

Ms. Das has been at Westwood since 2008. She completed her B.Sc with Math honours, B.Ed and M.Sc on Mathematics with specialization in Astrophysics at Calcutta University, India. In Canada she took her B.Ed courses, for her Alberta Teaching Certificate. Ms Das taught for almost 13 years in India. Here at Westwood she works in the  Math/Science Resource Room and helps all levels of students with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Science. She also assists with ILC Modules for students who choose to work independently.

Ms. Das also runs morning and after school sessions for extra help. She is passionate about Math and does a considerable amount of work with Westwood's Math Competition Club. Her main goal is to inspire students to work hard, and get one step up the ladder towards fulfilling their ambitions.
