  • 1 Pack of dividers
  • 1 Pack pens in blue or black ink
  • 2 Red pens
  • 1 Pack of pencils
  • 1-2 White gum erasers
  • 1 Plastic ruler
  • Pencil Crayons
  • Flag style post-it notes
  • Highlighters in at least 4 colours
  • A scientific calculator

 

Gym Strip: We recommend that every student have a t-shirt, a pair of shorts, a pair of sweatpants, a longer sleeved shirt or hoodie and a pair of indoor running shoes.

 

Students may also purchase Westwood clothing from our online store. It is not required that students purchase Westwood clothing for their gym strip.

Students taking math will also need a graphing calculator. We recommend one of the following:

  • Math 10-3, Math 20-3, Math 30-3, Math 10C - require a scientific calculator (**Math 10C students will be using a Ti-83 or Ti-84 in their grade 11 math course, so can choose to buy one for their 10C course)
  • Math 20-2, 20-1, 30-2, 30-1, 31, Calculus AP - require a graphing calculator (Ti-83 or Ti-84)

Division Notice

ATA Strike Commencing on Monday; School Closures Starting Oct 6th

As a result of the Alberta Teachers Association (ATA) rejecting a proposed deal from the Teachers’ Employer Bargaining Association (TEBA), all FMPSD schools will be closed to students starting Monday, October 6, 2025, unless a new agreement is reached or strike action is otherwise averted. Additionally, all yellow school bus routes will be suspended for the duration of the strike.

In light of the ongoing strike, all extracurricular activities, including sports, clubs, and after-school programs, will be temporarily suspended.

As there is no definitive end date for the strike, FMPSD is unable to provide a timeline for when normal operations will resume. We will continue to provide timely updates as we receive them from the Ministry of Education and Child Care.
