Westwood Robotics Team "Rocket" Set to Soar at VEX Robotics World Championship

Congratulations to Westwood Robotics on earning a spot at the VEX Robotics World Championship this April!  Students from Westwood's team Rocket 221X will travel to Dallas to compete against  teams from around the world.  

Westwood's team consists of Harshit Malla, Ved Lakkad, Ved Bhowmik, Ansh Ramani, and Sparsh Shah.  Together they have worked to build, program and pilot the robots they will be taking to World's.  Behind every successful team is a group of mentors. With the guidance of coaches Jeff Landry, Said El Mejdani, and Poornima Menon, the team has honed their skills and fine-tuned their strategies, ensuring they are ready to take on the world's best.

Securing a spot at the VEX Robotics World Championship is no small feat. With over 20,000 teams competing worldwide, only the top 820 teams have earned the honor of participating in this elite event. Team Rocket's journey to this stage has been marked by perseverance, ingenuity, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Mark your calendars for April 25th - April 27th as Team Rocket gears up to showcase their prowess on the global stage. The VEX Robotics World Championship promises to be a thrilling display of innovation, collaboration, and fierce competition, and Team Rocket is ready to make their mark.
